Purchased this lamp to use as a daylight lamp, but love the feature that it can also be used for extra regular lighting as well.
I enjoy my therapy light very much! I live in Montana on the 48th parallel with long darkness, I look forward to sitting in front of it in the am to get jump started. Great product and nice large viewing area.
The lamp seems to really help cheer me up on dreary winter mornings here in the PNW. I read the bible and pray while under the lamp. It’s been a very enjoyable and peaceful time to spend 30 minutes in the morning. I also enjoy using it at my desk in low mode when I’m working at the desk.
The material quality seems good, nothing super premium but quite nice.
The lamp is nice n' large and bright.
My girlfriend was skeptical but she tried it and really felt energized when using it.

It's pretty good. Sits on my desk and is used while I am using my computer in the morning. I like that I can move it to other rooms if necessary. Haven't set up the features yet (clock, date & time) but it is loud when I was playing with the buttons.
Our winter has been the sunless I can remember. It reminds me of last summer when the smoke from Canadian fires filled the skies. I'm using my lamp in the kitchen and I'm going to get at least 2 more for other rooms. It has made a big difference during the lack of sun outside.

This was a gift for a family member. After two weeks using the lamp, she’s now only bat shit crazy which is huge improvement over the past level of crazy.
We ordered the Carex Day-Light Classic Plus Light Therapy Lamp during the busiest time of year in December of 2024. Tiny problem was immediately handled within days we had another one with no issues what-so-ever! Carex customer service is amazing!!! This company really does care about whom it's products are being used by. I was waiting to do this review until using the light for a bit. We absolutely love this lamp! The sparkling beams of sunshine are instantly felt, helping to awaken you gently and soothingly. I know this sounds weird but it makes your eye sockets feel relaxed and just a calming feeling comes over your whole body and mind while you have your tea and breakfast. My Mama actually did a ton of research trying to find the right lamp for our family who was dealing with depression and other issues. We have boys who are on the spectrum and we have them sit with their backs toward the light since they have a bit of light sensitivity. Works just great for them. We are so appreciative to be able to have this lamp as an extra beneficial asset in the fight against the gloominess of Washington State! Thank you Carex, you rock!
After doing some research, I chose this Carex lamp as a second lamp for my office. I‘ve been using daylight lamps for almost 25 years and this is the best yet. I recommend it.

This light came broken and I am still trying to resolve the problem. I was to get an email to assist with the refund but I have not gotten the email and now must start over with the process.
TheraLite Aura 10,000 LUX Mood & Energy Enhancing Light Therapy Lamp
Purchased 9/2/2022. After very light use, I accidentally bumped the control/adjustment arm with my elbow and the flimsy plastic broke off in 2 different places, preventing the "head" (bulb part) from being reconnected to the base. Check reviews on Amazon--I wish I had, since there are NUMEROUS other complaints about this issue (flimsy plastic breaks, unit is too top-heavy and the adjustment arm is way too delicate for long-term use). Save your money and buy a Veriluxe instead. Cheaper and they actually seem to care about UX/product design. Super disappointing considering how widely this brand is recommended on the internet. I won't be making the same mistakes twice.
I had originally purchased the Sky Light Therapy Lamp to help with some seasonal depression, as I've been having trouble with motivation to get out of the house during these last few cold winter months. As such, my energy levels in the morning are often very low and I felt very foggy for hours after waking up.
After using the lamp for 20-25 minutes every morning, I've noticed a distinct increase in my energy levels and alertness compared to not using the lamp. If i had to put a quantitative number to it, i'd say i went from 4-6 out of 10 in terms of energy to consistently at a 7 out of 10. Definitely worth it.
My old SAD lamp gave out. This new one is amazing and so happy it has the phone charger and alarm clock. I've been using it since Christmas and notice my energy back to summer levels. Just wish it would get warmer outside :)
TheraLite Aura Qi Light Therapy Lamp
I bought 2 of these, and the "adjustment knob" that is supposed to be used to keep the lamp head at the proper height doesn't work. I have to prop them up on other things. The light and electronics work as they are supposed to.
Great lamp, very bright, no issues with it. Emits a nice powerful light and I can definitely tell it's making a difference.
